About Morris Bierbrier
These extracts were made by Morris Bierbrier and Lydia Collins during four visits to Egypt between 1996 and 2000. The late Morris Bierbrier (1947-2024) was assistant keeper in the Department of Egyptian Antiquities at the British Museum. He did much research on the genealogies of prominent Egyptian families now included in Les Fleurs de l’Orient website data and, with his wife Lydia Collins, was author of the reference genealogy book "The Sephardim of Manchester: Pedigrees and Pioneers", published in 2006 and reprinted 2022 by Shaare Hayim Congregation of South Manchester, England.
